Dyson all the way!  Doesn’t matter which version, they are fantastic!!!  I used to have to buy a new vacuum every year & seemed like it was always on Christmas eve right before company was coming over!  Then I broke down & got my Dyson 5 years ago & still going strong!  Love that thing!

I just bought a Dyson DC29 a few weeks ago and it is AMAZING! If you look at the thread I started there was a recommendation in there for another type of vacuum as well, and for different dyson models.

i vote dyson too.

we bought a dyson with our some of our wedding money.  it was the best purchase ever.  my dh loves it and does all of the vacuuming now.  we should have bought it sooner.

DYSON DYSON DYSON.  πŸ™‚  I really wanted the pet vacuum but couldn’t afford the $600 or whatever it was.  So I got a cheaper model Dyson and LOVE IT.  Its digusting how much dog hair it vacuums up (and I vacuum at least twice a week).

I vote Miele.  They are the quiet ones that make hardly any noise.  Much easier to manouver (IMO) than the Dyson.  I initially registered for a Dyson on my wedding registry, then researched some more…found out that the Miele is an amazing product, so registered for that one instead.  Have never looked back.

I recommend you go to a store that sells vacuums and test them out.  I hated the Dysons once I actually used it, which really surprised me.  For me, the Miele was a better fit.

Dysons are great but if you’d like a good alternative option, I have this one that works very well (and is a bit less expensive than a Dyson). We have two cats that love to shed and this vacuum works like a charm. It also works on both carpeting and hard flooring. Finally, it has an anti-allergen feature that makes the house smell really fresh and clean after it is used. πŸ™‚

I have a SEBO Felix upright and an Electrolux canister.  They both do great and pick up tons of hair.  Personally, I don’t like bagless vacuums so I would never buy a Dyson.  πŸ™

Another vote for Miele, my family has had Miele vacuums for years and they are very reliable.

Dyson! My parents got us one as a shower gift. We have 2 cats and the first time we vacummed with the Dyson, we picked up SO much fur and dirt even though we had just vacummed with our old Hoover the day before. It was seriously disgusting, but it felt good to see it all come out! We have the Animal upright.

I have been dying to get a dyson, but Darling Husband is too cheap. πŸ˜›  One of these days I’ll sneak one into the house… heheheh

I am another Dyson lover!

We have two pomeranians and it is the ONLY vaccuum that picks up all the hair without getting clogged. I would definitely buy another one.
