Do you celebrate valentines day with your SO or not?
Normally we just exchange cards but seeing as this is our last valentines day as an unmarried and childless couple my SO is taking to out to a gorgeous restaurant. I have never been out on a date for valentines day so i am very excited!!
what are your plans.
Also what can i get him?

That is so nice that you both are going out! We usually just exchange cards and nothing more. But this year were going to see Carmina Burana. It just so happened that the 14th was the only night I could find 2 decent seats next to each other. It was totally not intentional.
Check out red envelope for some gifts. They have cute stuff sometimes.

i love v-day. We usually don’t do anything great, go out to eat and watch or rent a movie. But I am a sucker for love so I love V-day! We usually just get cards for each other and sometimes I throw in some mountain dew for the b/f. haha

We don’t usually do anything & that’s fine by me!
Although, last year I made him bacon roses. And that was only because of seeing it on this site! LOL

This is my first VDay with a SO since I was in high school lol.
My husband is Korean, and in Korea only girls give chocolate on Valentine’s Day. Guys reciprocate on White Day, which is March 14th. (And then sad, lonely singles eat noodles on Black Day / April 14th, lol.) We weren’t together last VDay though so I don’t know how into the whole thing he is or how traditional he is. We’ll see haha.
As for gifts, if your SO is a sappy type you can try making him chocolate or a cake or something from scratch. Men who like that sort of thing REALLY like it. Most stores like Walmart or whatever have reasonably-priced DIY chocolate sets, and the ones I’ve done are pretty painless.

@ChocolateLime: I enjoy celebrating, I think it’s fun and a nice chance to be extra romantic and silly for a day. My ex was SUPER not into V-day, but my new SO seems really excited about it which makes me happy!
Unfortunately, this year we’ll be separated by 2,400 miles on the holiday so we’re gonna have to improvise. I’m sending him a box with a custom photo album with some *ahem* naughty pictures, candy, a mix CD, some snacks from local places around here that he can’t get in CA and homemade cookies.
Idk what’s in store for me, but around Christmas he was telling me he knew exactly what he was getting me haha. I’m kinda hoping he sends me flowers at work, I’ve always wanted someone to do that!

I think my Fiance likes Valentines Day more than me. He always sets up some sort of a date, usually dinner somewhere nice. I’ll bake him a dessert and he usually gets me a small gift and flowers or something.

We don’t celebrate it – it just doesn’t hold much meaning for us. I hope those of you that do, have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

We don’t usually celebrate.
This year, I’m just giving him a naked day. Meaningful and cheap!

Neither of us are very into valentines day. We exchange cards, and Mr. LK always buys me a small bouquet of flowers. That’s it, really. I’ll cook dinner as usual, help teen LK with his homework, maybe watch some tv. Yeah…. it’s just not a thing.

The past few years my Fiance and I have been each getting each other a movie and then watching them together. We usually both work valentines day and all the restaurants end up really crowded with long waits. I’d rather just spend time with him at home. Besides the anniversary of our first date is at the end of february and we always do something nice then.
