@FutureMrsB105:  Neither of us are big on Valentines Day at all. It will be our 4th together and we’re just planning on staying in, ordering some takeout and watching movies. Going out to a restaurant will be completely out of the question since they’ll be absolutely packed. But who knows. FH has completely surprised me in the past with random plans he threw together on his own.

My husband and I were supposed to close on our new house on Valentine’s day, but our closing has been pushed back a few weeks.  So we are going to “boycott” the 14th and celebrate when we actually close and move in! We usually stay home and I cook something special anyway so it seems appropriate to wait and do that in our new home together (especially considering we’re currently living with my parents!).  Though this year the special dinner might be pizza!

@FutureMrsB105:  We were going to have a pretty low-key Valentines Day, but some how that changed last night and we are now going to see SMOKEY ROBINSON on the 15th! And it is quite a ways away so we will be staying over the weekend.

I am trying to think of what I can get SO now! My budget has drastically reduced since we are going away for the weekend, but still would like to get him something small.

Last year we had dinner at a fancy restaurant and it was so busy, so this year we are staying home.  We’ll probably make something special for dinner, split a bottle of wine, and watch replays of the Olympics.

Our plans are still in the works. We’ll be doing dinner out and I’m not sure what yet! We should proooobably get that figured out. 🙂

@FutureMrsB105:  I hope you and your SO are able to do something fun! My husband and I were both super sick on Valentine’s Day last year, so we just postponed by a week and still had a great night out.

We are driving 3 hours to my parents’ to work on the wedding!  HAHA!  Not sure if we are doing anything else, though.  Small gifts, maybe.

We are going to a B&B Friday-Monday. I can’t wait to get away together! We’ll also exchange gifts.

I’m making an easy dinner and a heart shaped mini chocolate cheesecake. We’ll go out sometime over the long weekend most likely, but we’re avoiding the crowds the day of.

We don’t get into Valentine’s Day at all, but there’s a beer festival this weekend in DC that we bought tickets for the Friday night session to go to!  It’s us and like 4-5 of our single friends (seriously no couples wanted to go!)

We’re excited.  All you can drink samples of 50+ breweries for 3 hours?  Yes.

@FutureMrsB105:  This Valentines Day kind of morphed into an awesome day…totally on accident.  I took the day off, because it was on a Friday and I kind of need a break from the office.  I was also incredibly smart and made reservations at a Brazilian Steak house, like on New Years…because its Valentine’s Day AND a Friday…but I made them for 4…so we invited a couple we like to see often to go dutch with us…..Plus, we just bought a new camper, so we’ll be taking delivery on it on Friday and we can play with it all day!

So yeah…not exactly romantic by any stretch of the imagination, but really fun!
