I would just love some quality time alone with the FH way more than a gift.  Since the FHs son moved in with us, time alone is coveted time.

    Romance.  Definitely.

We haven’t had much “us” time lately, so I’d much rather have that than material objects.

Since we just got engaged, I don’t need/want anything material 😀 Always up for romance.

There is not an option for both so I didn’t vote. I love Romance but I like it coupled with something he took the time to thoughtfully pick out or create. It gives me great pleasure to think of something I know he’ll really enjoy and present it to him, so I enjoy when he extends the same courtesy.

Romance over gifts regardless of any holiday or occasion.  I could really do without Valentine’s Day to be quite honest!

What exactly do you mean by romance? Like he writes me a poem and washes my hair? Because I really wouldn’t like that.

I’m going to make some Alfredo, we’ll drink wine, and probably see a movie. Then do it. Is that romance? Cus I’m down.

Both!  🙂  The most important is Darling Husband himself, time with him would be wonderful, but he works a 9-9 that day :/

We aren’t really gifty people – I choose romance everytime!

We are much more ‘experience’ people than gift people – we haven’t bought each other gifts in years!

Romance! I rarely get to see my Boyfriend or Best Friend due to our LDR, so any time with him is absolutely precious and meaningful. Also, our anniversary is 2 days before V Day, so we typically do one present for the anniversary, and us time on the V Day.

since we’re in a ldr, i’d totally pick romance. we send each other small gifts throughout the year and we’re both running out of room for said gifts so i’d totally take spending some romantic time with him.

Ok, let’s be honest here…Can there be a third option for both?? I don’t need a huge gift but I seriously love the heart-shaped box of chocolates!
