Ugh I have no clue! I’m out of ideas!

Our anniversary was the first week of December, and I got him a scrap book of the past year. We’ve been doing it since we first started dating, and every anniversary I add to it.

For Christmas, I bought him Ray Bans and a Kindle Fire.

For his birthday, which was the first week of January, I got him a shirt he wanted, a rubix cube that’s really hard, and a Vinylmation figure from Disney Land.

And now i’m out of ideas! I honestly have no idea what to get him. Anyone? Anyone? Why are men so hard to buy for?!

I usually end up making something for the bf every year. Last year I put together this gift basket full of v-day themed items (e.g., boxers, etc.). It was cute! But now I am all out of ideas…

I’m lucky that I have a huge balance of airmiles from my last job so I have planned a surprise trip to Hawaii.

@julies1949:  what a lucky man you have !! hehe

I dont know… I’s in school so I’m sooo definately broke.. Anything PS3 related always works for my man so thats always an easy way out.. but I dont want to do that for Valentine’s Day… I dont want to get him chocolate because he’s not that crazy about it and he’s trying to get back in shape.. So I’m thinking I’ll get him some flowers, put them on the table and make him a nice diner… something like that..

Anyone else have ideas ?? ๐Ÿ˜›

I even offered to make like a super fancy steak dinner, instead of going out and spending an hour waiting for a table at a very full resturant, and he was like

“Isn’t it the man’s job to buy dinner on Valentines day? Should I cook it?” And I wanted to scream at him “NO BECAUSE THEN YOURE TAKING MY ONLY IDEA FOR A GIFT FOR YOU!”

Women are so easy to buy for- flowers, something sparkly, chocolate, stuffed animal, whatever!- where as men are impossible. And mine won’t help me out at all. When ever he decides on something he wants, and he tells me, within a week he goes and buys it himself =/

Thankfully, we’ve agreed on no gifts this year, instead we’re making each other dinner, and I might make him a valentine card

My man is an old soul, so I’ve been saving up to get him a really nice pocketwatch ๐Ÿ™‚

He had his eye on a really interesting looking one a couple months back and the jeweler still has it! I’m so excited about giving it to him.

ETA: Last year we did something unusual and bought each other piercings!

I don’t know.  ๐Ÿ™

I told my Fiance that we should make each other something since we’ll be getting married in March and have a lot to pay for our honeymoon…but now I’m having a hard time coming up with things.

I do have this book and have been working on it for a while.  I can’t decide if I should just give it to him for V-day or on our wedding day.  Technically I bought the book, but I had to fill it all out…so that counts as making him something, right?

Yeah, I need to keep thinking!

@cirk:  I am in the SAME boat as you!

I have no idea as of now.

His birthday was the last week of November, I got him an Ipod touch.

Our anniversary was December 11th & I got him a bracelet.

Christmas I got him some playstation games.

& Now I have not a clue… I am thinking just sweet lil things nothing big or fancy! A nice dinner, card, chocolates (the nice kind with nuts) & things of that nature. ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t hate Valentine’s Day (I make pink cupcakes and always buy conversation hearts) but I don’t see it as a big gift worthy day. I’m always up for giving a card though and I love getting cards (finally hammered this into my Fiance this Christmas!).

But, just to be thoughtful, I’m sure he will get me flowers (yay!) and I’ll buy him some of his favourite beer.

I’ll be getting my Fiance some brownies (and maybe some other sweets) from here: http://www.shopdlm.com/

I’ve gotten him some once before and he loved them. We’re long distance so it’s nice to be able to get him some treats even though I’m not there.

I’ll probably also send him a card if I can find one at the BX.
