Hi Bees! So we have mandatory valet parking at our event do to steep parking hills (in the colorado mountains). I would like to make valet tags to put in each persons car. I just got this idea yesterday from another bee. I have seen some jsut hang a thank you note and another hung a thank you note with a little sachet/popuri bag. Any suggestions or ideas? I haven’t found much on the topic. Please post pics if you have them! Thanks 🙂

Hahaha!!! You could put a DUI breathalyzer keychain in each car:) Totally kidding:)
The popuri is a nice idea, but as someone who hates sented anything in my car I’d find it frustrating to have to clean my car to get the smell out…. Just saying… not trying to be mean about it!!! What if you did a CD of songs from the wedding… like y’all’s first dance and the parent/ son/ daughter dances…. or you could do like a hangover kit… a bottle of water, some advil, a cereal bar or $5 McDonald’s giftcard… Good luck!!!

Scent preferences vary by each individual, and what you like, someone else will hate and vice versa. Others are allergic. So I would avoid anything scented. Music is personal as well, and not every vehicle is equipped with a cd player. You could have a small box of edibles (either sweet or savory) in the seat waiting for them.

Thanks for all the comments I really apreciate it. I was worried about scent thign too. I thought of doing something very mild so it wouldnt be too strong if it was in their hot car for hours but that just but be a bad route to go. Thansk for the input
I love the cd idea. All of our guest will be traveliing atleast 6hrs so it could be nice for them to have some new music to travel home with. Thanks girls!!!

Hmmm let me think. If I found a surprise when I got in my car what would I like… Definitely the CD…. Bottles of water would be nice and maybe a snack for the drive. Maybe a little photo of you two hanging from my rearview mirror? Or a garter with a note like “Tag! You’re it! Thanks for coming!”. I like the idea of something hanging from the mirror.
Oh oh! This may be crazy but it would be cute! What about little cut outs of your heads that are elastic banded to the head rests?! That would be kind of hilarious to find in my car! You could have little “Thanks!” word bubbles, LOL! Okay, I’ll get out of my little zone now 😉
I wouldn’t love the pot pourri thing. It would remind me of old ladies.

Thanks bakerella! those are great ideas! The water bottles would be cute too. You can get some really cute personalized water bottles. and the head things could be funny too. I could maybe do some Out of Town like bag (water, snack, ect) and have it put on the drivers seat with a cd thankyou note on the mirror. The idea of a popuri type bag is a horrible idea. I was thinking more like yankee candle type car freshener scents but its just a all around bad idea. Thanks for the help! 🙂
