Our plans are pretty basic. It’s our first Valentine’s Day since we got together but neither of us are big Valentine’s Day people, so the plan so far is breakfast in the morning, lounging around in the afternoon, then going to the movies followed by pizza. No particular plans after that but who knows.

Sorry we’re not much help in the idea department.

We’re going to see the new Deadpool movie. XD Then I’ll take him for dinner and get a bit tipsy on prosecco…

you’re making me think I should get some nice underwear and surprise him though… thanks for that idea! 🙂

chrissybee:  I wasn’t planning on special lingerie but maybe I will..its been a while since I’ve worn any!

We are going to a fundraiser for a service animal charity- its at a doggie day care so we can sip wine while our dog plays. its perfect! There is also an option to make a cement mold of your dog’s paw.

Clearly we are crazy dog people. But after I think we will come home, eat some heart shaped pizza and drink some more wine and watch a movie.

EDIT: this is the first year in a while we’ve actually done anything outside the house. Usually my DH makes me dinner and we hang at home which I love too.

We’re going to Morton’s for dinner. We’ve been going to Morton’s for dinner on V-day for years.

My fiance is going to be working in the Queen Charlotte Islands so it looks like it’s me and the cat and dog. I’m going “real” dress shopping the day before though!

chrissybee:  flying to florida on valentines for the week! Nothing to kinky, but we will be doing it a lot as it will be our first month of ttc!!

In years past I wait till he comes home and am naked or have lingerie on for him. A little gift exchange and we usually just have a pretty low key date night.

Valentine’s Day of 2010 was our first date so it’s kind of an anniversary for us, I’m hoping we’ll make it to the same restaurant we went to back then 🙂

Also planning on buying a white corset to wear (not out to eat, obvi, haha) because Fiance has talked about wanting to see me in one for the past like, year, so…might as well!

Fiance will be working that day. I’ll probably surprise him with a special dinner then we will watch the walking dead since it comes back that day

Hanging out with my parents… le sigh. We live in NYC but are getting married in Chicago and are using the Presidents’ Day long weekend to fly to Chi and get a bunch of wedding stuff done. We saved a vacation day but are going to be spending a non-romantic Valentine’s Day with Mom & Dad as a result. Neither of us will be touching the other with a 10-foot pole with my parents just down the hall, haha.

I actually have no idea my Fiance plans everything that day. Its one of the few times he gets to surprise me ( he loves watching my facial expressions). One year it was simple he surprised me with breakfast in bed and we had a chill day watching movies and laughing. All the way to a 5 star restaurant and an activity. But I’m sure this year it will involve the Deadpool movie on some way lol.

chrissybee:  I’m just starting to think about what to do, and I’d prefer a romantic evening in. I’m thinking he’ll cook our favorite dinner (filet mignon with potatoes and veggies) and I’ll make something for dessert. I’ll have my favorite wine and he’ll have his favorite scotch. I don’t know that we’ll do gifts, as we close on our house on Friday, but maybe some house related things. I do have a couple lingerie items that I haven’t worn for him yet, but I don’t know that I’ll pull them out. We shall see lol
