Hi Kitty,

Happy Planning~  How is your progress?

I will have my ceremony at Canadian Memorial United Church. The coordinator is super friendly to non-member and willing to accomodate almost everything a bride want to do in the church. Only asked not to damage anything and be respectful.  She is super sweet :).   The total package isn’t bad, $1350 for Saturday wedding and included 2 hours rental, minister and musical director.  They will accomdate any music you wanted, as long as you give them enough time and provide music note to the director.  Or if you are too lazy on music, you can discuss with the music director and he will pick a few for you.  He will play 3 songs for you, your choice of organ or piano.

The church itself is grand and pretty enough that I don’ thave to do a massiave decor.

Reception I will have it at Empire seafood restaurant in Richmond.  Unlike other Chinese restaurant, there is absolutely no sign of red. All beige + white with beautiful chandeliers and adjustable ceiling light (you can choose any color that match your wedding theme)

As for florist… I am very lazy and let my photographer handle for me. They have one stop package that they will provide floral, decor package as well.  I paid $450 for bonquet (bride, bridemaid, groom, mom, etc)

Having our reception at Riverway Clubhouse in Burnaby.

I cant vouch for my florist since we haven’t gotten married yet, but VERY affordable. They are called Proline in Burnaby. Not a great store front, but the pricing is good.

I’m following this – I’m also looking for flowers and seriously considering DIYing since it’s not one of our ‘splurge’ items.

had our wedding 20 days ago and yeap, Evan from FlowerZ’s genius and care so much for every event he does.  My guests all gasped that they have never seen such beautifully decorated wedding before and that the flowers which they took home lasted very long.  Definitely going to ask Evan to help us in any events we plan in the future.  There’s a reason why some vendors are famous continuously.
