Why not just skip the water for the water beads? If the flowers are fake, they don’t actually need the water.

@jpalm13:  I was going to suggest the same thing, and actually, you can even have real flowers in a vase full of water beads because they excrete water.

@mayflowerbride13:  I used them for my wedding, but we used candles instead of flowers in the vases. They look really cool and come in all sorts of colors. Why don’t you see how it looks with the whole vase full of beads?

@jpalm13: +1, just fill up the vases with the beads and stick the flowers into them.

Alternatively, if you want the water effect – can you just crush up some coloured glass and put that in the bottom?

I saw on  pintrest once, that someone put gold fish in the vase, with little fish bowl rocks at the bottom, with a flower floating on the top, or a floating candle. Looked pretty cool.

@housebee  Let a guest at a table take them home.

I was going to submerge my flowers because they are fake but then decided they look better not submerged.  Here is a trial run,  but I’m still playing around with ideas to figure out exactly what I want.  Lol

@jmaze:   Ooooh that’d be really cute, especially if you had kids at the wedding

@mayflowerbride13  LOL is this what I have to look forward to in a few months???  I think I’m going to go with the fish idea.  I thought it was a cute idea.  We are having a small wedding. probably about 8 -10 tables, so not a lot of fish..plus, if no one takes them, I’m sure my kids won’t mind having them!  I’ll be the one taking care of them though…like i do with the crabs, the ferret, the turtle, the guppies…..etc….grrr…

@mayflowerbride13:  oh those are just glass rocks. Let me see if I can find another photo… they don’t float
