Im very early, only 9 weeks tomorrow but my midwife wants me to have an idea of what sort of birth i want as only certain midwifes deal with vbacs and she needs to make sure i get the right kind of care.
My first pregnancy i had pe-eclampsia and was induced at 35 weeks, after a failed induction and a slowed heartrate for my son and very low blood pressure for me they gave me an emergency c-section. It was all very traumatic, i was young and did not expect my labour to go that way and as a result i had post-natal depression and didnt bond with my son for 3 months.
This time i get the choice between a vbac or an elective c-section and im not sure which to choose, they both have positives and negatives to them and i have read so much research about both and im stuck so if anybody has any real life stories about either one good or bad id love to hear them?
