Hey all – another Vegas bride checking in. There’s a ton of great information here.

We just booked our plane tickets and we’re trying to figure out where to get married. it will just be the two of us. The Bellagio and Venetian are the front runners right now, but I’m open to other ideas and will look at some of the suggestions above.

@lovebookonline: I’m happy to hear you had a good experience at the Bellagio and you answered my most pressing question: the photography. Glad it was good. I would think that the Bellagio would have good photographers, but you never know.

@bobrien74: We’re considering the gondola package. It just looks so fun and unique, but still classy. Please pass along any good info you’ve learned. Do you have a contact at the property that you like?

What kind of dresses are you all wearing/did you wear? What about your grooms?

@7SEVENJ9 : I just looked at the Valley of Fire weddings. Wow! That looks great and so unique! I’m giving that one serious thought. It might be a little chilly in January, but it could be worth it.

Hey All,

I am newly engaged and getting married in Vegas on 11/11/11…unfortuante that this year is 2011 as we are not doing it for the ideal date but for the fact that it’s Veteran’s Day (Armistice Day) and we are both military (former military) and come from military families.  Anyway…we are sort of non-traditional in that we want a nice ceremony (somewhat traditional) but a big party for a reception.  We ideally wanted to do a big pizza party somewhere with a few kegs and a signature drink but that seems to be hard to find.  We don’t want to be too far off the strip as that  is where most people are staying and being mostly pilots on my fiance’s side…will probably drink a little bit.  Are there any suggestions for people who can assist or places that would be good?  We are looking at having about 120-150 people.  I’m so thankful my fiance found this site because I was starting to feel like Vegas was going to be more difficult than elsewhere, which is what we’re trying to avoid…thank you!

Nice post. I really got help from these posts to find perfect wedding venue from Las Vegas Weddings venues. I am wondering if anybody can suggest me good Venues for reception parties.
