My Maid/Matron of Honor has been insisting that we go to Vegas ever since I got engaged last year (which is completely fine with me!), and we just got our tickets today! It is officially happening!
I’ve never been to Vegas, so any tips, tricks, advice, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated. Our core group will be three girls and one [gay] guy, and we will be there Saturday-Tuesday.
Thank you so much for any help all you lovely Bees 🙂

From walking the strip to clubbing you can go wrong with anything in Vegas.

Ohhh man where do i start……ok so are you looking to spend each night at a club. or looking for one night at a nice(big) club…whats your budget and where are you guys staying?? I have a couple of friends who are club promoters so you can get on the list where you dont have to pay to get in and wait in that long asss line.

I love the suites at the Venetian, and they can be pretty affordable if you split 4 ways! If you’re planning on hitting a club, ask your concierge which clubs are best on the night(s) you’re going out. We also always ask the waitstaff where they’d go out, since they are sometimes more tapped in than the concierge (who inevitably suggests a club at their own hotel). And if you’re staying at the hotel or eat dinner at the hotel where the club is, you might get in free/skip the line so ask about that too.
I also definitely recommend walking the strip at some point with a cool (adult) beverage! Vegas is such a surreal place, and it’s so fun to just take it all in (and take advantage of no open container laws) with your friends.

Thank you so much for the responses ladies! I really appreciate it!!!
@lnoeuy: That is what I’ve heard 🙂
@SoontobeMrsFisette: We are thinking more like one big night at a club, and then some chill drinking, gambling, and lounging by the pool, and maybe a Thunder show or something along those lines 😉 We are staying at the Wyndham and then the Stratosphere for one night (for the views, and because our trip got lengthened by a day when we saw how much would could save in airfare!) Our budget is going to be low – wedding stuff is eating up all of our money lol. I would def be interested in talking to your promoter friends – we aren’t set on any one club, just want to look hot and dance all night 🙂
@babu22: We almost went with the Venetian, but didn’t because we originally had a bigger group (and still might!), so the 7 person giant suite we found at the Wyndham seemed better. Now I wish we did! Oh well, we will still have fun 🙂 Great tip about asking the waiter – I would not have thought of that! And we def plan on getting a “yard” glass and walking around one day too – that sounds wonderful 😀

My best friend had her bachelorette party in Vegas. It was my first time going there, so I had no idea what to expect. My BIGGEST piece of advice is to be mindful of everyone’s budgets. The bride wanted to go to all these fancy restaurants, when all of us had told her we couldn’t afford it. One night, some of us bailed on dinner and ordered pizza…which ended up being the best dinner we had! So, eat cheap (maybe indulge in 1 expensive dinner), and do as much sight-seeing as possible.
As for going out to clubs….when you are laying around the pools during the day, you will see promotors walking around the pool, asking if you want to be on the guest list. GET ON THE GUEST LIST!! Actually, get on as many guest lists as possible, so you have options. Also, ask them to get table service and a free bottle. Hopefully you have someone in your group that has no shame, and will tell the promoter, “Hey, we’ll only come to your club if we get a table and a comped bottle”. Usually they will agree. It will be weird because you have to exchange numbers with some guy you don’t know, and potentially call them up when your at the door so that they can get you in, but it’s worth it. It will save you SO much money. Getting a table is much better than having to stand around all night in a crowded club. For the most part, if you don’t have a table, you won’t have anywhere to sit.
There is SO much to see and do in Vegas, and I feel like I really didn’t get to see much at all! I’ll definitely be making another trip back there.

Omg, you girls will get everything free! lol Seriously, clubs and whatnot will let you in for free so you don’t really have to worry about it. If you’re looking for a great dinner, try Stack at the Mirage – it was AMAZING! The Eiffel Tower is also good but much pricier.
Oh and I just remembered, we went to see Le Reve at the Wynn which is similar to a Crique du Soleil show and it was AMAZING.

@agraham85: I wish I knew to do this when I went. I didn’t know it was so easy to get a comped bottle. Around here, it’s impossible. We never really hung out at the pools though (I was a college girl on a budget so it was Circus Circus for us HAHA).
I think you guys should go to In & Out!
I also hear Pink Taco is great. My favorite place is at the Paris hotel and it’s call Mon Ami Gabi. Can you tell I like food? LOL.
Going to MGM and seeing the lions is fun, and it’s always great to just hop into various hotels to see their vibes. All have something different going for them.
My favorite club, and i don’t know if it’s still that popular but I loved the ambiance, was Tryst. Tao is also really great.

@agraham85: Oh no worries, I will def be mindful, as I’m going to be on a budget too, and I don’t want my friends to have to pay for everything (they already paid to come to Vegas!). I heard that “Secret Pizza” in the Cosmopolitan is delicious, so we will be checking it out 🙂 Great tip about outright asking for a bottle too – I am pretty bold, but I wouldn’t have known that would be an effective technique! Thank you for sharing that!
@DeeVine1217: Hahaha, I sure hope so! I am worried that our one guy might have to pay up the wazoo, but hopefully the 3+ to 1 ratio will work out in our favor 🙂 I will check out Stack, and La Reve sounds great! Thank you!
@LuckyJuls: Oh I will definitely try In & Out! I’ve never had it, so I won’t leave without seeing if it is as delicious as all my Cali friends say 🙂 And I have Mon Ani Gabi on my list! I saw it on Yelp yesterday (I’m a Yelp addict lol), and it looks fantastic – so glad you agree! Thank you for all the tips!

THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER! I went for my bachelorette, and it’s AWESOME. Super fun, not skeezy at all, and seriously, seriously fun.

1. Wear a garter/fun little veil/Bachelorette sash EVERYWHERE you go, it is “proof” that you are a bachelorette and will get you free drinks/stuff, discounts, etc. (I was just out of town for my bachelorette party and the hotel even gave me 1/2 price access to their VIP lounge for my entire stay) MILK IT!!!
2. Bobby Flay has a restaurant in Ceasars Palace, not cheap but excellent food if you are looking for a steak dinner, it is called Mesa Grill.
3. Go out on Saturday night if you want a crazy party night, Sunday and Monday are more chill.

@sarahbabs: I’ll be in vegas as well this weekend. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you girls!
You guys should go to the PepperMill at 3 am on Saturday night. It is really close to the Stratosphere. Holly Madison might be there!

@jennicole01: LOL, it sounds like a lot of fun 🙂 I will tell my Maid/Matron of Honor about it!
@Miss Gamer: Smart idea about the garter! I know I am going to wear a sash one night, but that way I always have something on me 🙂 And I love Mesa Grill – we have one in MYC too. The desserts are to die for!
@Mollytov: Really? That is awesome! I hope we run into each other 🙂 And thank you for the tip! We might have to check it out.

@sarahbabs: I hope you had the BEST time! I did and i’m feeling it today.
