Are there any Vegas brides out there? If so, what are your plans?
Mine is going to be at the MGM Forever Grand Chapel with a cake and champagne reception in our suite and then a night on the town. The theme is 1940s post war Hollywood Glamour (think Andrews Sisters meet Frank Sinatra)

Me (raises hand), I’m a Vegas bride!!
Our ceremony and reception is at Springs Preserve. It will be a small-ish wedding. No real theme (although I LOVE your theme) but just lots of fun. I’m contemplating a welcome event at Firefly on Freemont street but not sure.
I looked at the MGM too – I almost chose an outdoor package there for the ceremony.

Hi! I plan on doing an in suite cake and champagne reception as well, but at the Venetian. We would like to also get some wine and beer.
Are you getting the booze and cake on your own or having it delivered? Please tell me more, I am very early in the planning stages.
Thanks!

I really wanted to do this at one time, I live in Texas and we thought a cute little elopement would be awesome, but we really wanted our friends and family to be a part of our big day, so we decided to say nay on it. Congrats and good luck!

I am getting married at the Valley of the Falls at Mandalay Bay and we are having a dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab at the Forum Shops at Ceasars and then a night on the town. I’m not sure where we will go yet, I’m still trying to decide a lot of things.

We are getting married at The Flamingo at the Gazebo location and having an In-Suite reception in a Vista Suite and Mandalay Bay with catering from Masterpiece Catering. Check out the Vegas board on the Knot, it’s a fantastic tool for planning a wedding there!

My twin sis is having an in-suite wedding at Mandalay Bay this December. It’s going to be awesome! The suite is positively STUNNING. I think she’s bringing in some local catering, my mom is bringing in some great northern California wine. My sister and her partner are decorating the suite in classy and festive decor. It will be the perfect mix of laid back but formal.
Afterwards she made reservations at a beautiful restaurant in Mandalay Bay, and then afterwards? Who knows 🙂
(I hope I don’t steal her thundering posting for her- she’s on the Bee sometimes)
