Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas and ARIA Sky Suites.

Check out Trip Advisor – they always have a lot of reviews for places. I never book a hotel without them and they haven’t let me down. Often include guest photos, etc.

thistle89:  we just got back from staying at the Bellagio and loved it! It was too cold for pool time but the grounds of the pools were really beautiful. I know 2 people who stayed at Monte Carlo recently who had poor experiences. One from poor ac and the other from noise. Mandalay is lovely but keep in mind it’s quite far on one end of the strip. We stayed at Mirage last year and due to recent renovations the rooms were really nice and we liked the location quite a bit and got such a good price. The pool is large with good service – go early to get a good spot! There are quite a few palm trees so you can find shade and we ate at the poolside cafe several times.

We’ve also stayed at Vdara, Venetian, Palazzo and Planet Hollywood (we love Vegas!) so feel free to ask any questions about any of them 🙂

Staying at the Venetian would be the easiest, just upgrade to a suite. Palazzo is also an easy option. The Bellagio pool is nice. You could do Mirage, they have Bare which is a topless pool. Tao at Venetian is europian, you have to wear pasties

Another vote for the Bellagio! Even though it’s on the high end of your budget, it’s worth it!

We’re getting married in Las Vegas in less than two weeks. We’re staying in the Bellagio 🙂 We were between that and the Venetian.

Don’t do Monte Carlo, especially if you plan to use the pool, too many kids

I’d recommend Cosmo or Aria, being in the midd of the strip is nice and there’s the free tram

Bellagio is nice but again a lot of kids

were actually staying at Cosmo for our mini moon, we live in California so we go to Vegas a lot

I highly recommend the Palazzo since it’s attached to the Venetian. It’s a little newer and all the suites are really nice. we just got a basic strip view suite (upgraded for free at check in) and were very impressed. Here are a few photos of our room (including Fiance in the tub pretending it’s a bobsled). I would not recommend Mandalay Bay unless you’re ok with a super long ride. It’s at the complete opposite end of the Strip.

I have stayed at Flamingo, NYNY and Monte Carlo.

Monte Carlo was my favorite. Loved the wave pool and lazy river.

I stayed at the Vdara this past summer for a friend’s wedding. There’s no casino in the hotel so it’s a little lower key. It’s also connected to the Bellagio via a walkway so easy access there. I really loved it there and would probably stay again if I go back.

The Cosmopolitan is an awesome hotel. Middle of the strip, big soaker tubs that over look the strip and balconies. The pool is amazing as well
