Hi bees!! We need your help! We have officially booked our date at Chapel of the Flowers for Dec. 10, 2014…SO exciting!! We will have around 15-20 people with us and are trying to plan something for afterwards. We are thinking of doing a dinner and drinks. We want somehwere with a private room, where we can get salads, entrees, dessert/cake of everyone’s choice and drinks without breaking the bank!! Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?!
We’ve already looked into Maggiano’s, Bahama Breeze and two others that I can’t remember the names of but wasn’t completely sold. HELP!!!

I don’t have any suggestions for a private party room, but I just wanted to say I’ve been to a wedding at the Chapel of the Flowers, and it was lovely! 🙂 Congratulations!

@futuremrsmw: If you don’t get the suggestions you need here on WeddingBee, look on the Las Vegas Chowhound Board. Do a search for private dining rooms before you post a query, just to be polite.

We are doing a reception at Slive of Vegas in Mandalay Bay…yes, it’s a pizza place. BUT! They have a private room that looks really nice, can have a dance floor/DJ, and have a good bar package. We are only paying $14.75/pp/hr for premium beer/wine/liquor and are doing a sit-down dinner for $59/pp.
Here is what the private room looks like:

@futuremrsmw: we are doing private seated dinner 2000$ min at Mon ami Gabi at Paris hotel. The food options are amazing 60pp for 3 course or 75 pp for four course. If 20 people then even with 75$ option (1500$) then spend 500 on drinks/wine/appetizers to meet room minimum. My room max is 30 seated or 18 with different set up. Good luck!
Also, they have lunch options which were cheaper but not sure about room minimum.

@futuremrsmw: I really like the Mexican food at Border Grill in Mandalay Bay. I know they do private parties. They have some really pretty patios! http://www.bordergrill.com/bg_lv/bg_lvbaq.htm

We have not, but my group dining coordinator assures me she’s hosted many good receptions there and the room is exactly what I’m looking for – large-ish but not huge.
And just realized I had a huge typo in my original post – SLICE of Vegas, not Slive LOL. Whoops!
