@MangoLover4Life:  I was married at Caesar’s in Las Vegas last year.  Vegas weddings could cost as little or as much as you’d like.  The first thing you should do is start looking at venues.  The beauty about Vegas is that there is so much competition so all the information is available online.  And they all cater to everyone.  Decide if you want a hall type wedding, or in a casino or in another venue.  Then compare the packages to see which you like best, which is exactly what we did.  One thing I dont suggest doing is trying to restrict where your guests can stay.  We had 23 guests all happened to stay in 3 hotels all near each other.  There’s a lot of options so good luck!

@MangoLover4Life:  honestly, i cant break everything down.  I know the ceremony package we picked was about $2500, but we ended up adding things at the end.  We hosted a dinner at the venetian and drinks at a lounge afterward that we prepaid for.  I think with weeklong travel expenses we came to about $14,000 give or take.

@MangoLover4Life:  Paris is very nice.  The inside is really charming.  I really liked the idea of using the top of the tower as for the ceremony until I found out they only do it in the mornings and I was really set on an evening wedding,  The stratosphere and Luxor which are on opposite ends of the strip are much much farther than they appear.  I would stick to the middle strip.

I am not.  I actually wanted to and offered it to FI but he turned it down since he used to live there.  I did go to a wedding at the Wynn that was very nice.  I think the nice thing is you can spend as little or as much as you want.  I think any of the chapels offer fairly cheap services but on the other hand you can do a package at one of the nicer casinos.  I would look online, I think all of their packages and prices are listed there.  You could do something cheaper at a chapel and then have a reception at a casino or a restaurant.  My favorite casinos are Aria, Wynn/Encore, Venetian, Bellagio.  I wonder if Paris, Caesars, or Mirage probably have some nice spaces too.

If it was me I’d take a weekend trip to check things out Smile  I love Vegas!

My best friend got married at Mandalay Bay, on the beach in the back.  It was awesome.  Everyone stayed either at Mandalay Bay, the Luxor, or the Excelsior.

@MangoLover4Life:  oh yea i forgot to add, the legality is insanely easy.  You fill out the stuff online before you go.  You give them your reference number, your ids, and some cash and voila you have the license to give to the officiant.  We were in there maybe 6 minutes.
