Are you planning on having those that you want to come be there a day or so earlier than the rest of your guests?

My Bachelorette was kinda different–it was a combined party with the Bachelors with a scavenger hunt and party.  We only had our wedding party/friends, not all the ladies who were invited to the wedding.  I think you’d be fine if you just wanted to invite your wedding party/friends.  I wouldn’t think your older family members would expect to be invited to the Bachelorette.

I wouldn’t. I mean, it’s Vegas, baby! Not the place to be tame.

Um… no.  You invite your bridal party and close friends.  This can includes younger family members if you choose – sisters, cousins, etc.

I invited all of the young females who are invited to the wedding to the bach except for like my SIL who I am not close with and lives in another state. So, wedding party ladies + local girls who are invited + close friends who are far away. Hope that helps!

You could always invite all the ladies to dinner and then split off to do the more wild stuff with the younger ladies.

Usually a bachelorette is for close friends only.  You can invite all the female wedding guests to a shower if you are having one.

Thunder From Down Under = so much freakin’ fun.  Good call on not inviting the conservative Future Mother-In-Law, though 🙂  I’m with all of these ladies – bridal party and close female friends/family members are all that “need” to be invited.
