I am getting married in Las Vegas at the begining of July 2014, and have never been there and won’t be able to be there until the week of the wedding. I am currently looking at a bunch of different outdoor venues but would love some input from other bees that have done a Vegas wedding previously! Thank you in advance!

@BellieBee: Hey, our wedding was in Vegas too. First we wanted to get married in the Flamingo, it was the most beautiful and sympatetic outdoor venue for us. But finally we chose the Strip at the Bellagio Fountains. It was like a fairytale… the monumental fountain and the romantic music behind us… no words to descibe the feeling!
Sorry I can’t give you a useful advice, because the Strip is not a traditional venue, but it was very romantic and touching.
And congratulations! 🙂

@BellieBee: please update us on your decisions. I am getting married at Paris hotel and having a seated dinner in a private room reception. I have been to Vegas before and it’s amazing ( and that is without the gambling). You will have so much to do there. Congrats!

Thanks for the input! So far the top two contenders are the Grove outdoor wedding place (I really like the “orchard” venue) and the Lake Mead cruise package! You get married right over Hoover damn and have your reception on the boat as it floats around the lake. I’m just so indecisive though! I know it’s going to be in July and SUPER warm, but it’s my dream to have an outdoor wedding and I don’t really want to get married in any of the indoor facilities i’ve seen in Vegas!
My Future Mother-In-Law mentioned the Flamingo and how pretty the garden was there and it’s a contender as well.
We originally weren’t going to do a reception because we’re having a very small wedding (20-40 guests MAX) and just do a dinner in a private room and go to the clubs/bars on the strip after, but i’m seeing some awesome ceremony/reception packages as i’m looking at the websites.
Not being able to go look at these places and talk to the planners face-to-face is really scary to this control freak!!

@BellieBee: I’m getting married at the glass garden at the little chapel of the flowers. They also have a beautiful gazebo, you should check them out atlittle chapel.com

I got married in the Valley of Fire state park. It was breathtaking I used scenic Las Vegas weddings and they were fabulous and easy to distance plan with. I also used makeup in the 417 and they were so great and easy to work with. Melissa at scenic Las Vegas weddings arranged limo, photography (we also did a photo tour at the neon museum which was so cool) And officiant. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding experience.

@BellieBee: I’m using The Grove. I’m excited and nervous I’m also I control freak. Lol. I might be going out there for a weekend to check it out but it seems to have good reviews I obsessively search. ha
