the amazing kobe beef sliders that Darling Husband loved. he ate all 3 during the tasting (plus 3 full dinners, 2 crab cakes, 3 beef wellington apps, 2 egg rolls, 2 pork pot stickers, 2 salads…) and did not have to eat again until the next day:
cordelia, my adorable flower girl:
me n my daddy (and yes, i still call him daddy)
sigh of relief. everyone is smiling and despite the aisle runner mishap and me freaking out at my florist’s assistant, it was perfect. we improvised with rose petals. the weather couldn’t have been any nicer.
there was no wind out so we had to create our own veil blowing effect.
a quiet moment on the bench after the ceremony before heading back in to join our guests at cocktail hour for a few minutes.
our guests enjoyed the apps and drinks, taking photos in front of the Vegas sign, and making full use of the photo booth.
i didn’t notice that the favors were not out on the table yet. it’s a good thing i had a pregnant (and sober) bridesmaid to make sure we didn’t forget them. the fresh baked ciabatta bread was to die for.
we had a creative bridal party entrance.
we entered to the bulls theme song (my way of incorporating DH’s personality into the wedding. our officiant is a former pro MLB player.)
our dj did an amazing job with the uplighting. our photographer had top notch equipment. the room was Vegas nightclub dark.
we also enjoyed the photo booth:
our bestman was the only one that drank the budweiser.
feet on the dance floor
our macaron favor box. (macarons baked by chef jean-paul of patisserie manon.) and one of four flavors of wedding cake. this one happened to be the favorite among the guests — yellow cake with pineapple cream cheese mousse.
i’m not sure if people are having fun.
this was the dance off that was going on while i was puking.
