I cannot believe I have less than 5 months to go. And as I am gathering bits and pieces of my little wedding, I noticed something rather unfortunate: two of my guests, will be 20!! FI’s sister and my good friend’s wife both will be 20.
From the moment we decided on Vegas we knew we were going to have dinner at a local restaurant and drinks/dancing afterward at a club/lounge. I cant help but wonder, what if these two cant get into the lounge? From the beginning I told them to find a fake, we all laughed but I was half serious. I’d hate for this to happen. I’m not sure if I show up with 30 people they will card every single one of us, but I have no idea, Any thoughts?
Sidenote: I am not encouraging underage drinking for those who may perceive it that way, I just want them at the festitvities.

When my brother and SIL married in Vegas 3 years ago, my youngest cousin was about 60 days away from turning 21. I felt so bad for him! He was not able to get into any clubs with us, so he couldn’t attend the after-party (they did card every person in our group of 25). We did get him good and tipsy at the reception, but he went back to his hotel room after.
We didn’t make any concessions for him or look for under-age options so I can’t point you to any alternatives. Hope you’re able to work this out!

They’re pretty strict on carding everyone in Vegas so I’d find something else for the 20-year-olds to do while you are in the club.
Depending on the lounge, the underagers may be able to get in but will definitely not be ble to drink. It’s also one of the hardest places to get a fake ID past a bartender. Don’t encourage the underagers to be stupid by messing around with fake ID’s.

I also got married in Vegas and we had a reception at a rooftop lounge of a major hotel and no one got carded. There was some rule that they couldn’t be within so many feet of the actual bar but not that that mattered. My 17-year-old cousin was drinking martinis. *rolls eyes*
