Haven’t tried it but it sounds great! SO is a dedicated meat lover (I don’t eat or cook it) so he is always comparing the “meat substitutes” to the real thing and of course they never make the grade in his mind. Maybe he would like the Beyond Meat more. Luckily we are moving to a big city soon so we will have Whole Foods again (yay!) and we’ll give it a try!

@QueenOfSerendip:  I haven’t even heard of it, but I will definitely look it up! I wonder if it is available in Canada…

Thank you so much for the tip! I am not a vegetarian, but I am hoping to slowly become one (slowly because I just went “all in” for a few weeks and couldn’t take it). So far I have cut out fish and pork and MOST beef, but I am struggling the MOST with Chicken. This might be just the thing!

Aw, it’s not available in Canada. It looks delicious though! I usually use Morning Star and Yves products, but I need something with more protein.

@Scorpio88:  Do you have Quorn or Gardein in Canada? Maybe they would work for you?

I haven’t heard of Beyond Meat either, but I’d love to try it! I’ve been veg 10 years, but my husband won’t even try anything that’s a fake meat. More for me.
