I’ve watched wedding shows, reception shows. I don’t understand the whole concept of a bride going through the trouble of finding the perfect veil to go with their dress. Then when they walk down the isle, it’s not even over their face for their husband to be to have to move it before he kisses his bride.
So what’s the sense in a veil, if you’re not going to wear it the proper way?

A lot of people wear it because it makes them look bridal. I didn’t wear it over my face because I didn’t believe in the tradition (that the man can’t see the wife before the wedding so he won’t run out on the marriage) and I didn’t want to deal with my husband or father snagging it and having it look weird in pictures during the ceremony.
