oh wow…I do’nt think you can my dear…yes, I love mine too, but Cathedral veils are at least 108 inchs lonng…so it would drag the whole time. I probably woulnd’t wear mine past the first dance.

I’ll be wearing my cathedral veil at the ceremony, but taking it off for the reception.  I do understand how you feel though, I LOVE my veil!

You can certainly do whatever you want but I would think a catherdral veil would be VERY inconvenient at a reception. Every time somebody hugs you it will pull at your veil! Maybe get a cool headpiece that you like instead?

My friend had one and she kept hers on all day! She just sort of looped it up over her arm while she was walking around and talking to people at the reception–granted, it was a day wedding so there was no dance. I think it would be more of a problem if you were dancing.

I wore my Cathedral veil and it got very heavy.  By the time we did portraits and first look and the ceremony I had worn it for over 2 hours and was thankful to swap to my hair flower.  I do not regret wearing it but glad I had a lighter option to wear later
