So I didn’t think I wanted a veil. Then, I found “the” dress and, as seems to be the story for many brides, the addition of the veil was incredible. I went ahead and bought one because of the whole “15% off if you buy your veil when you buy the dress” dealio. I figured that I’d just get the veil out of the way. I didn’t buy the veil I’d originally tried on with the dress because I found it to be offensively expensive.
When I got home, I realized etsy veils are WAY cheaper (I hadn’t researched them since I didn’t plan to buy one), and I also regretted that my veil had a little more “bling” than I’d like (I’d prefer something more floaty, that seems longer than it is because it doesn’t have a definite border at the bottom).
But to go back to where I started, I never even CARED about the veil before today. With that in mind, perhaps I should stop obsessing. Should I just stop looking, avoid spending more money, and say “a veil is a veil,” or should I take a loss of time and money by finding a new veil and trying to sell the old one (at a loss, likely)?
