I dont think I have a picture example, but my veil comb slightly “pops up” off of my head when it is pushed all the way into my hair. So, when the camera is dead on my face or is above me slightly, you can see comb. When I took my bridal photos, my photographer had me move the veil to the back of my head because she said it looked funny with the comb showing. You can hide it slightly by combing some hair over it, but I don’t want to mess up my hair too much. How can I hide it?
I had this picture on my pinterest, but I an wearing my veil at the top of my head, so will the bow look silly? could I just do a satin ribbon to cover it? Any crafty ideas?
Here is the bow idea….
here is where my veil will be located, this is me in the picture and you can *kind of* see the comb, but the picture is taken from a low angle.

The bow looks cute! But if you don’t prefer the bow, I’m sure a seamstress could change the comb out for another one that hides better. That’s what I did!

you are so pretty 🙂 I dont know how to fix your veil problem but you seriously look amazing. Your dress and that veil where its positioned now are so YOU and I dont even know you. I love that dress

You look so cute-I design hats and veils and never use combs for this reason. You’ll find bridal store veils with them because it is easily mass produced in China cheaply. If I were you I would cut the comb out, use E6000 or hot glue to attach the veil to a large silver flat clip. This will be flat and not pop up. It’s how I make all my veils and hair accessories.

I love bows, I just think it would look silly on the top of my head, you know? Not sure if I want to have it re-done though. I’m running out of time and money, and I don’t love my alterations place or trust them 100% with it.
this is seriously the nicest thing I have heard in so long. THANK YOU so much for taking time out of your day to be so kind to me. I really do feel like me dress and veil are so “me”. I just wanted to look like a bride. Not a blingy bride, or boho bride, or traditional bride. Just a textbook bride. And I LOVE IT. Thanks again. I’m sure I’ll think of your kind words on my big day;)
what kind of flat clip? Like the ones they use for cutting hair? Can you show me what you mean? Also, the veil was made at a replica shop in china, so, yes, cheap and quick.

is your hair teased in the pics of you wearing it? teasing your hair a bit will help it stay put nicely or you could try using bobby pins to reinforce it.

Yeah, my hair is teased, right after the hair trial. The issue isn’t that the veil is coming loose or slipping, it simply doesn’t go all the way flush to my head.
