What’s the style of your wedding?

Your dress has so much drama that I think the feather/flower/birdcage could kinda take away from it. Whether short or long, I say keep it simple and let your dress shine!

I agree with @babylou, unless the birdcage veil is just a veil(without feathers/flowers etc) it might look overdone.

I am also facing this dilemma! I love the traditional elegance of a long veil, particularly for the ceremony. But the birdcage veil is so friggin’ cute and stylish! I’m am almost convinced to wear two! I plan to wear a cathedral length veil for the ceremony (I’m getting married in a pretty big church) and switch to a birdcage veil for some of the photos and for at least the first part of the reception. If you love both, why not have both? Wink

I would say a long veil but not as long as the picture. I’m not a fan of the reeeeeally long ones. Something like a fingertip length would look perfect.

Since you’re having a classic traditional wedding, I think the long traditional veil is definitely the right answer. It fits perfectly! ๐Ÿ™‚
