Looking at your photograph, I first envisioned an elbow length veil. The good thing is your dress is a shape and style that means you can wear just about any veil you want, cathedral to blusher, lacy, embroidered, swiss dot, plain. Still, I couldn’t help but imagine something elbow length with some nice design on the edges that match your belt a bit. Good luck!

my dress isn’t as full as yours, but was full! I wore a fingertip length and loved it.   Just a thought!

Like another bee said, an elbow length veil would look lovely. I wore an elbow length with my ballgown but I had my hair up. Either way, the veil will just be a bonus to your gorgeous dress!!

Try an elbow length and a fingertip length… I bet you’ll have a favourite. If you like cathedral length, maybe you can order one of those cheapie online ones. $10, and worst case scenario, you’ll know if the length is good. Best case scenario, it’ll be nice enough that you can just use it. I think cathedral would also be lovely. Try moving them around on your head too… I love them on the crown of the head, but I don’t think it looks good on me. I have some more time to play around with them though.

BUT I’m mostly commenting because of your dress… GORGEOUS!!! It seriously is amazing… I just love the skirt, and it makes your waist look tiny and the rest of you look va va voom! Awesome choice. Yup.

Good luck!

Oh man!! This is my dress too! I plan to wear my MIL’s veil, which is a floor length lace edge (but I might fold it over to be a double layer lace edge, making it more like an elbow length).  I wasn’t sure about lace with the all satin dress, but then I saw these wedding photos: http://www.stylemepretty.com/massachusetts-weddings/2011/12/07/belle-mer-wedding-by-snap-photography/ It’s pretty much the same dress, but she is wearing a Lazaro.

I also got a free veil with my dress. This is the one I picked out: http://www.bestbridalprices.com/symphony-bridal-veils-style-5623vl-p-71295.html?cPath=1123&fabric=148

I think a cathedral veil would look great though!! I think it would be a really dynamic look especially with the larger skirt.

I love a long, dramatic cathedral veil with a ball gown. It depends on what kind of look you’re going for – cathedral would be more formal, whereas elbow/fingertip would be slightly more casual.

Okay first of all, HOLY CRAP you look SO stunning in your dress!  In regards to veil, I’m between the cathedral and an elbow length.  I think a cathedral veil would be so lovely! If you do elbow length, what about the bubble ones with a little more volume?

I have this dress, too. I love the cathedral length veils, but I wasn’t sure if it would be too much with the train on the dress and buttons down the back. I also love lace veils, but was unsure of how that would work with the blingy belt. After seeing pictures, it looks like it would work well though.

@lastlastfirst have you chosen accessories?
