    I only wore the veil during the ceremony…..

    I would say that 90% of my pictures are without the veil…..

    I really loved the way my hair looked on my wedding day and I really did not want anything to hide it.

    I really don’t think the veil will make much of a difference in him seeing your whole look. Most guys really don’t care about that stuff. I’d just wear it.

    I didn’t know what to do either because I LOVED my cathedral veil!

    The photog said I should either wear the veil for all pictures before the wedding or not wear it until the ceremony.  We were doing indoor/outdoor shots for our first look and it would have been a pain (and would have messed up my hair) if we kept taking it on and off for different shots.

    So I opted to keep it off for formal shots and first look and wear it for ceremony, cake cutting and reception dinner.   I think it was the best choice for me!

    I am going to wear mine for the first look and formal portraits and the ceremony. I will probably take it off right after because people acidentally rip it out of your hair when they hug you and I don’t want that to happen in the reciving line.
