So my dress just came in (Maggie Sottero Agnes) and I need help picking a veil. I’m at loss whether a chapel or elbow length will look better.
I’m also torn as to whether delicate embroidery to match the dress around the outside of the veil or simple one strand of beading would look better. If it helps I’m 5’10” and a size 6. Will be wearing flats and having an indoor wedding on the more formal side.

Do you have any pictures of you in the dress? Or maybe some veils you might be considering?

@BananaNutMuffin12: It would be really helpful to see a photo of you in your dress.
For more formal weddings a chapel length would look great. The main photo on the Maggie site shows a dress with no lace. Lots of beading and ruffles!! Beautiful dress though.
If it is that dress, I would go for the strand of beading, or scattered crystals.
A finger tip veil would also work if it ends before the ruffles.

That’s the one! It’s funny because it’s EVERYTHING I thought I didn’t want but for whatever reason it ended up being “the one.” Also, because my whole idea of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day got flipped upside down. I’m completely clueless about the type of veil to wear with this type of dress. (Before buying my dress I pictured a long two layer lace veil. I had so much dress regret but when I went to pick it up I fell in love all over again! I actually don’t have one picture of me in the dress as I didn’t want it to fall into the wrong hands. i.e the fiance.
Anyways, because the dress is so busy I’m worried that a veil with any bling will be too much. I was thinking something like either of these but am totally unsure.

@BananaNutMuffin12: You will have to be careful that the beading is not too heavy because it drags the fine fabric of the veil.
I quite like the look of your inspiration photo, but the close up does make the beading look rather heavy, Scattered, could be quite thinly scattered.
It is was formal, I would go for chapel length, even a plain veil, raw edge would look good, because as you said there is quite a lot going on with the dress and you really don’t want to take away from all beautiful beading.
