Would you wear a veil with this dress? and if so, what kind of veil? Initially I was thinking of just fresh flowers in my hair, but now i’m starting to think a veil might be nice. Would you do fingertip length or something longer?
Please post any veil suggestions that you think will work with this dress! Sorry for the gigantic pic!
Also, any suggestions on Etsy shops for veils? Any advice appreciated!!

I have a rather similar dress and I definitely want a veil. In the beggining I wanted a fingertip veil but honestly, since the dress is so modest, and I mean it in a good way, I love the simplicity of it, I have decided for a long veil. Also following if you don’t mind because I would like to hear some vendors on Etsy for myself 🙂 also do you think they ship to Europe?

I think a veil would be beautiful! Plus, when else do you get to wear a veil?! I would personally go for a longer veil, I just think they’re so romantic and beautiful 🙂
I’m getting mine from Etsy and have gone with Blossom and Bluebird – not only can she make anything (I’m going fully custom) but she’s also super responsive and went above and beyond to find me a good price for the fabric I wanted. Definitely recommend checking her out!

Another bee voting for a long veil!
I love this one from Etsy:
PS!!!! Don’t be scared about the price, I have Etsy programmed to Mexican pesos from when I lived there I don’t know how to change it LOL 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😂

Until I saw your comment about price, my brain was about to explode hahaha
I’m also on team long veil. But that may be because I generally don’t like short veils … I also think flowers in your hair could be beautiful!

I like medium length veils! They are a bit more practical than long and still look lovely. I have a waltz-length drop veil from Blanca Veils (you can find them on etsy) and I’m planning to wear it all night because I don’t even notice it’s there when it’s pinned in 🙂

I do think a long veil would be stunning!!
I just attended a wedding 2 weeks ago and she had a very long veil and it was windy, and the veil was an issue through the ceremony (she made a joke of it in the ceremony and it was super light hearted!). So, perhaps check the weather for wind?
But as for photographs, a long veil would be so pretty!!

I think you could do cathedral or fingertip. Both would look nice. I’d either go completely plain or just a little bit of beading.

A cathedral veil would look stunning with your dress but then anything would it’s gorgeous 🙂 I did a veil and floral crown.. I couldn’t choose haha

OMG I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. So beautiful!
Thanks for your input all — and you’ve completely convinced me! I’m going with a long veil, still deciding between waltz length or chapel length (it’s an outdoor venue in the middle of a public park, so I know anything too long is going to be destroyed quite quickly!)
Thanks for this recommendation — I think I’m ordering through them! Fingers crossed they can rush order in time (they assured me they could) — our wedding is in 28 days. Yes, I am THAT bride…

Update: I ended up going with a waltz length veil from … amazon! $20, shipped with prime, exactly what I wanted!
Who would’ve thought amazon?

Is that the BHLDN Freesia dress? If so, that’s my dress too! I’m wearing a 2-meter long veil that I bought for $30 on Amazon.

it sure is! Great taste, sista! I snagged it sale and can’t believe it wasn’t sold out! Please post your photos after your wedding! And good work on the veil too! I almost bought something much more expensive and am so glad I didn’t! Bridal tulle is bridal tulle at the end of the day!
