WOW that’s alot for a veil.  How much did your dress cost if you don’t mind me asking?

I agree with hiheel, to me, that is a lot of money for a veil.  Then again, my whole attire budget was $1200 (dress, veil, jewelry, shoes, alterations, etc).  I would maybe ask your photographer about how much the blusher might effect the pictures first.  I imagine if you’re considering spending $600+ on a veil, that you have a much larger budget than I do, but if you had to get a veil, I would go with what the photographer suggests.

@jpalm13:  Stunning veil.  I also agree with a plain blusher but depends on how the the embellishments are done.  If it’s not on both sides of the blusher, you will have the wrong side showing when it’s over the face or pushed back up. If you get what I’m saying.  The little I can of the dress is stunning.

@jpalm13:  What about looking at other bridal shops? Honestly, your wedding is not until May, there is no rush on ordering the veil (worked at a bridal shop).

Do you know the designer? I am pretty sure I could make that veil and the blusher for way under what the shop is charging.

And just as an FYI, where I worked, the mark up on veils was-extreme. Like 5 times the price the store paid (no joke). (For reference, dresses marked 1 1/2-2 times, but veils were the 5 times!)

The veil is stunning. If you have the money then to for it. And yes a plain blusher is better.

I’m not sure if you’d want to go this route but I’m having my veil made by Jasmine’s Bridal Shop. The veil I wanted retails for $1,700 and they are making it for more than half off the retail cost.

@jpalm13:  Is there a way to see an “ivory” version of that veil in the store you found it at? It would be awesome if that veil worked for you! (Ok, I am all about the deals. As my Fiance says, I don’t like to spend money, I like shopping and finding awesome deals)
