Which do you prefer? I wnted to make myself a simple veil. Before wedding dress shopping, I assumed I’d want a plain veil, if any. But when I bought my dress, they put a gorgeous (expensive) lace veil on me that I loved. So the other day I bought tulle and lace off etsy. Now that I’m making it, I think I prefer without lace again. Let me know your opinions please!
For the pictures, I just have the lace pinned on for now. Below is my dress:

I like the elegance and simplicity of a raw cut veil. I originally got an expensive lace edge then bought $45 raw cut….. thinking I will go with raw cut! :+)

I’ve also gone with a no lace veil to team with my lace dress. I wanted my dress to do the talking without anything pulling away from it

I love the lace!!! Even more if your dress has it!
Mine had the same lace my dress had at the hem and it felt perfect!

Without! The design on the fabric is beautiful, no lace shows it off more!

I bought a plain veil with a few scattered crystals (from Etsy) to go with my lace dress (in a similar style to yours) as I thought the whole lace veil and lace dress thing would be too much. When my veil actually arrived I then thought it was too simple so I bought a lace-edged veil from David’s Bridal. It was on sale so it was about £60 (cathedral length). I’m going quite glam so I think the lace works, the lace edge also adds a little weight which helps it drop nicely (in my opinion). Both are gorgeous though…you can’t go wrong really.
