stran760:  You look goregous in that dress btw! Is that the Adalee?? I vote to keep the cathedral veil. I think it goes perfectly and does not take aay from your dress at all.

I’d go chapel length so it blends in with the tain and doesn’t extend past it.

I maybe the minority but I work in bridal and personally I would have paired your dress with a fingertip veil. You have a grogeous train and I agree the cathedral detracts from it. Instead the fingertip veil will hit where the dress flares, a nice accent. A veil should always add to the dress, never take away from it.

llussier:  +1 I would also think about a fingertip veil to let the dress shine

I feel that the catherdal takes away from the dress. I think that a fingertip veil would be best as it stops right where your dress flares out, this makes the veil become a lovely accenting piece rather than the main attraction (all eyes should be on the dress, not the veil).

Well I voted for the cathedral veil, I think it complements  the dress beautifully ( you look amazing in it  btw, amazing)   ..but llussier is so knowledgable  that I kind of feel she must be right .

I still prefer the cathedral dama though!

I thinl I would do a plain raw edge cathedral/chapel that hits the edge of the train. The applique on top of the skirt is a bit busy, but I love the drama of a long veil.

Gorgeous dress! And, I think, unpopular opinion, but I think that with such an elaborate dress, every veil will take away from it. So I would skip the veil and revel in all the reactions you will get about the dress by itself!

I’m wearing Adalee for my wedding in August! I went for a finger tip length veil with a satin edge because the waves created by the satin edge really compliment the layers in the gown.
