I’d second going with a bunch of flowers. My only reasoning is becuase the back of your dress looks soo pretty & I hate it when it gets covered up with a veil….  Personally I don’t think your dress style would work quite right with a birdcage veil (& I love birdcages)- it looks too modern to me

That dress looks beautiful on you!

The sidebun with flowers sounds really pretty.  What about a drop veil that you can just pin into your hair?  Then you can remove it after the ceremony.

Hunny, do whatever you want.  Get that veil if you want to.  If you do, I say an elbow length one.

If you want to wear a veil, I think you should wear a veil. I think your dress would go perfectly with a veil!

It’s YOUR wedding day.  Wear the veil if you want to – when are you ever going to get to wear one again?

That dress would look so great with a veil! And being petite is no reason to not have a veil. You can get a very simple veil so its not overpowering. But it seems you want want, its your wedding so go for it!

I wore a similar style dress (satin and fit and flare-ish). I ended up wearing a fingertip veil with crystal and pearl beading on the edge. (yea I splurged on that one) here’s a pic for you to see. So obviously I say GO FOR IT! and I suggest fingertip w/o a blusher. but that’s just my opinion

PS if you’re worried about hiding the back.. don’t be… I had a lot of detailing on the back of mine and you can still see it:

I love your dress, I think a veil would look amazing with the flowers then after the ceremony and pictures you can just take the veil off… here’s photos:

I had a dress with a lot of detail and wore a cathedral length veil. I loved how amazing and classy it looked and how well it complimented my dress!

and heres a few of my veil:

You should definitely wear a veil if that’s what you’ve always wanted! You really only get the one time to wear a veil without people wondering. LOL. I agree, find a nice sheer veil that won’t take away from the dress.

I love your dress. You look beautiful! I think a veil during the ceremony would be nice and then for the reception a flowery hair piece as HappilyEverAfter54 suggested 🙂

Do what will make you happy! If you want a veil, wear a veil. I think a veil would go beautifly with your dress. I was able to find a veil that is pretty shear so you can still see all the details of the back of my dress.
