I am not doing a veil. I don’t really think you need one. Maybe just a nice hair accessory like a crystal hair comb.

If you do a veil, it’s got to be a really simple one, raw edge..

Considering your overall shape as well as the intricacy of the dress, I’d suggest going with a longer and plainer veil to not detract from the dress itself.  Maybe a chapel/cathedral length with a crystal or raw edge?

There are also some great tutorials online for making a simple raw-edge veil that you could attach to that beautiful comb without paying a lot more.

I think you look better without the veils.

@GardenBride12:  i’m kind of traditional so I’m definitely wearing a veil.  The one you have int he picture goes grest with the dress, but I think I would go with a more simple veil.  Since your dress already has the intricate lace I would go with a veil with a more plain edge.  I’m sure you will be able to find something you love! good luck

I agree with those that suggested a simple veil if you decide to do one.

I haven’t decided if I will do one. I’m not too traditional, but on the other hand it’s pretty much the only opportunity I’ll have to wear one.

I am wearing the Bernadette and no veil. I was going to do a birdcage, but opted for a 1920s style headband instead. Think Lavinia Swire from Downton Abbey..lol.
