I cannot make up my mind regarding if I should wear a veil or headpiece with this dress for my beach wedding. In the running are 1) a fingertip veil with lace trim, 2) a simple tulle birdcage 3) some sort of ornate headpiece (perhaps an Athena look) 4) flowers. I will most likely wear my hair in an updo rather than down.
I’ve heard many opinons from friends & family, which I think is contributing to the confusion. It’s so hard to picture what the final product will look like once the whole look is assembled… Any help is appreciated!

If you don’t mind not wearing a veil, I think a headpiece would look great!

Do you know if the beach you’re getting married on is enclosed (less breezy) or more exposed (possibility of a strong ocean wind)? I think all of the options would work with your dress – but personally I would be hesitant to wear a long veil if there is a possibility of it blowing all over and becoming distracting. Hope it works out for you!

@AlliMayWedding: It’s not enclosed so I think there is a good chance it will be pretty breezy which is definitely a reason to veto that longer veil option I guess…
