I took mine off for the reception, and so did most brides I’ve known.  Up to you, though!

I wore mine the whole reception:-) My veil went down to my shoulders and had the sparkle sequence touch to the ends of it. It basically went along and added to my dress.

I’ll take mine off after the intro, cake cutting, dinner, and first dance and a bit after. I’ve got a cathederal veil for the ceremony and intro, and then for the rest I’ve got a family veil that’s about elbow length. Less to manage while dancing, but I’ll totally take it off if it gets heavy or in the way.

Most brides I’ve seen have taken if off for the reception, I really want to leave mine on though (:

I’m wearing a cascading cathedral veil, so I’ll definitely have to take it off after the intros. Probably can’t even do the first dance with it on! It’s LONG. If I had a blusher or fingertip, I’d probably wear it all night long! Love veils.

All of the weddings I’ve been to the bride has taken it off after pics.

Mine fell off 3 seconds after the ceremony and I never managed to put it back in. Instead my MoH wore it during dinner and my mom wore it during the dancing part. So cute!
