Is anyone planning to wear both a fascinator and a non-birdcage veil? I thought it would look weird but when I tried it on at the salon, I liked it. Nothing over the top for the fascinator, something small like this:
With a single tier elbow length veil pinned in the back of hair:
Does anyone have pics of someone who has done this? I’m worried it will be too much!
This is my dress, and the jewelery I am planning on getting:

I think it will look great! The veil is simple and single tiered and I love the fascinator you posted!

I didn’t do this but I’ve seen a couple brides who did. While I am not personally a fan of the look, I think it can be pulled off. With your dress and the accessories you posted, I’d personally skip the birdcage part.
I think your fascinator is adorable, btw!

I can see a fasinator looking good if it was pinned like a barrette above the veil. To wear that veil with the fasinator classically pinned on the side of your head would look off I’d imagine :/

I think it would look great pinned above or close to the veil. I really like it!

Bump – any more opinions?

I think it would look fine with the shorter veil. Anything longer would look a bit over the top though.

Just wanted to clear things up in case I didn’t state it properly – the fascinator in the picture does not come with a birdcage (short) veil. It is just the feathers. I am considerting wearing it as just a clip with the longer veil in the picture I posted. I feel like people are getting the impression I want to wear a long veil AND the fascinator with a birdcage veil, which is not the case.
