haven’t gotten mine yet, but I’m leaning towards a single tier fingertip length veil. going to wear it low on the back of my head for the ceremony.

I choose a single layer elbow length for my wedding because I didn’t want the veil to take away from the details in my dress.

I’m doing a fingter-tip length veil with a blusher…so I’m not sure if that counts as single-layer or not?

Either way, I think the look you described is gorgeous and what matters more is how it looks on you and how it looks with your dress and HOW YOU FEEL IN IT! Screw the trends lol, but there’s certainly nothing “out of style” about a single-tier fingertip viel

@funkymunky85:  no, there is a big difference between classic and old fashioned.  you would know if it was creeping the wrong way!  it sounds gorgeous!

I hope it’s not out of style, because that’s the veil I’m using. I think it’s classic and looks great with any dress.

I don’t think its out of style, and honestly unless it was one of those 90s big head dress or something very specfic I don’t see veils about being out of style.

I really think certian veils look better with different style dresses. My dress would look ridiculous w/a birdcage, so it wasn’t an option for me. Fingertip just looked ‘right’ with my style of dress. I tried on a ton of veils, from super short to cathedral to drop, and no other style looked good with it. Sometimes I think our dresses dictate this choice!
