I have narrowed down my dress selection to two (will be making the final decision this week!) One of my top favorites is this Simone Carvalli dress below, however I am worried because it is so ivory (and not just off white) that it will be hard to find a matching veil. Do any brides have experiences finding a veil for a champagne, true ivory or other non white/off-white dress? Thanks for your help!

There are several varied colors of ivory and off-white available. Maybe try “antique ivory” which is what I got to match my alabaster Sottero Midgley dress or some varied shade.

@Treejewel19: Is it pretty easy to tell on the website photos what color it is? I’m worried about buying one online and then getting in person and having it totally not match my dress.
Do you know if alterations people can dye a veil to match your dress color?

Bump? Curious about this whole veil thing and whether or not I can get it dyed if I order a veil online and it does not match my dress.
Also, any suggestions for veil type with the dress I bought (the Simone Carvalli above)?

@converse_bride: My dress is blush, so I have a similar problem. My consultant told me I can have any veil dyed to match, although I’m not sure exactly how that works.
That said, I don’t think the color has to be an *exact* match, since it will look different on a tulle veil versus an organza dress anyway! I think you would be fine with “dark ivory” or “antique ivory”.
But if you want to be sure it’s a perfect match, you can order swatches from some vendors (I found these by doing a Google search):
