I am one of those brides who fell in love with the “picture” of the dress and because the price was right. After I ordered the dress, I searched for pics of REAL brides in the dress. I found a listing on preownedweddingdress and the dress looked nothing like the picture. After much research, I now know I probably will need a hoop or crinoline to even have a chance at creating the look in the picture. Now for a veil…Its prety detailed and beaded so I am thinking simple raw edge. I would love to get your opinions. Also what length?

That’s beautiful detailing on the dress. yes I keep the veil simple to let the dress shine. I do like a long veil personally. Does your dress have a train ?

Yes, I also think that veil should be simple and I would choose fingertip length.

teamdavis16: I’m on the same team as UK-bee: and LOVE a longer veil. It really finishes the look in such a classy elegant way. Shorter ones (even finger tip) never have the same WOW factor as a long one. When the dress comes in from the shop, as them to set an appointment for accessories and you can try it on with the desired undergarments and veil types. You can also get the caroline cheaper from another store but try it on there for shape and see what you think. I got a cathedral veil that had scattered simple crystals on it and if you wanted to go really glam on yours I think you could do that and it would be beautiful!
