I’m wearing a black flower with a ivory birdacage veil. What are all of your wedding colors. You can always get an birdcage veil and dye it or get it dyed one of your weddingn accent colors. Plenty of brides go without all of the above. What is your style? Have you tried the dress on with veils? If you can post of picture of the dress that would help alot. I think you were the bee that said she was new and couldn’t figure out how to post them. Just click on the icon above the box you leave you comments in that looks like a poloroid picture and the plus sign, then upload your picture.

@can-dee – love those colors, my original colors were chocolate, gold, ivory and green. But now they are Ivory, Black, Sliver and pink.. because of my dress. But I say if you tried on veils with you dress and don’t like them, then don’t wear one. You have to do what you thinks and feels best to you.

    What about something like this?

It goes with your dress being different but it still gives you the bride feel.

    Or maybe something like this

I don’t know exactly what your dress looks like but I def think this would look really good with a chocolate wedding dress and add some pizzazz to your hair.

Maybe you can wear a flower that encompasses all of your colors? ๐Ÿ™‚ Or maybe even an elegant, gold hair accessory?

I don’t think you need a veil to look like a bride!  A big trend is fascinators or a big silk flower for your hair.  A friend of mine had a shoulder length veil but she had her hair in a low side ponytail and stuck it there (which looked traditional yet modern at the same time). I also think having a veil is dependent on your wedding location and what type of wedding you’re going for.

Personally, I love the look of veils. I’m planning to have a two tiered cathedral length veil (I love the drama that the length adds!) and then switch out to a flower for the reception.

I don’t think you need a veil to look like a bride either. Some of the best pictures I’ve seen are just a pretty hair flower to one side – you could even wear it with a bridcage veil?

Personally I’m wearing a hair comb and veil but its totally up to you and your style.

You don’t NEED to wear a veil, I am because its my one chance to ๐Ÿ™‚ I have a veil and headband/tiara thing but am not sure if I will wear the tiara thing.
