I ordered a veil from a lady at a traveling, trade-only jewelry show, but her business is local to my city. It (the veil) was supposed to be in last week.
I’ve been calling all last week and emailing with no answer. I finally got in touch with her this morning only to be told that she doesn’t have the veil yet! According to her, the manufacturer is “giving her trouble about making it” because I ordered a “cafe” colored veil and (even though it was clearly advertised in the catalog I looked at) they don’t want to make the border I picked (sequins, bugle beads, crystals) on that veil color. I can’t figure out why the hell it matters one bit what color the veil is!
I am totally put out! The veil was 110$ and I paid 60$ already! She promised me a final word on whether I would get the veil today or tomorrow and that I could either pick a new veil or get a refund but I am very unhappy. I don’t understand what the problem is, and I am getting married in 31 days! WHo knows how long it may take to get a new veil at a bargain price now! Aaargh!
