Curious about when you veil-wearing bees took/plan to take your veil off?
I see that some ladies like to wear it just for the ceremony, and others keep it on for the first dance or even the cake cutting.
I have never thought about it, so I’m curious what others do/did!

ASAP… That shit was annoying. I’m surprised I even wore it for the ceremony and didn’t take it off when it became a tangled mess at the first look. But we got married on the beach so this probs doesnt happen to everyone lol

I was planning on wearing mine the whole time but I took it off when I sat down to eat. It got so annoying because people pulled it when they hugged me and when I sat down at the reception it kept pulling between the chair and my back. It felt like it was messing up my updo with all the accidental pulling so I just took it out.

I kept mine on until after the cake cutting because I didn’t like my hair 😜😭

I plan to leave mine on for the ceremony and the photos during the cocktail hour, then I’ll take it off before being announced into the reception.

Right after the ceremony 😉

I’m going to be wearing a cathedral length veil so I will be taking it off right after the ceremony or right after we get some photos with it. It’s too long to be on much longer than that!

Same thing happened to me! The crystals on my veil kept getting stuck to the back of my chair. My moh just took it off right there.

We had the ceremony, followed by group photos then the introduction (it was all on one property), first dance, then we snuck off for photos of just me and DH. After that I was soooo ready to get it off! I was glad I wore it for all of our main photos though.

I never thought about it, but it accidentally came off when I hugged someone at the cocktail hour….and I never put it back on! A friend stuffed it in her purse and gave it to me the next day.

I wore it for the ceremony then took it off for the meal as it was getting in the way a bit, then put it back on just before the first dance & glad I did as it made it dreamy!

I kept it on till we had our first dance. They I switched it to a flower piece since I didn’t want to be stepping on it.

We did not do a first look, so I wore it for the ceremony, all of our “official” pictures, and then took it off at the beginning of the reception and put on a flower crown which is what I have in reception pictures, our first dance etc.
