I’m very annoyed right now. My veil was supposed to be in about a month ago and then they said it will come in April 20th and now they “don’t have a specific date of arrival” at the moment. Our wedding is months away, so I’m not worried about it not being here in time (or should I be? lol), but my hair and makeup trial is next Saturday and I want to test my veil with the different hair styles.
I called and told the bridal shop my current dilemma and they agreed to let me “borrow” a veil for my trial. The problem is that the store is over an hour away from my house and they won’t let me keep it for multiple days. I explained that I’d ordered the veil well in advance for the purpose of being able to wear it during all of my hair/makeup trials, so it is very frustrating to me that the veil is coming in over a month late and I’m now being forced to drive 2 hours two days in a row because they won’t let me hold on to it for more than the one day. I was actually speaking to the owner of the store herself and she said “well, we’ll just have to play it by ear when you get here” okayyy… what does that even mean? I need a veil, dang it! Anywho, I’m just annoyed by the situation, that’s all. I do understand that they have business to do and brides to sell veils to, but I’ve already paid for mine and I’m not happy with the service I’m receiving right now.
Ironically enough, the bridesmaid dresses weren’t supposed to come in until June, but they’re already here…. my veil was only supposed to take about a month to order and it still isn’t here, two months later. Go figure.
Just annoyed and wanted to vent. That’s all. Thanks for reading 🙂
