I love cathedral veils. I actually made three Toni Federici veils into one. It has fluttered edging around the face with a crystal trim and scattered crystals throughout the rest of the veil. I know it’s a lot of bling, I just loved it. The veil bustles so I can wear it to the reception if I want to.

Can’t wait to see everyone else’s veils!

Mine will be a cathedral length veil (no blusher) with crystals scattered.

@tomsbride- That dress is beautiful. I would definetly do a cathedral veil. I would chose one that has a little volume on top.

@ducks35- Ask the bridal shop and/or the designer. I went to a trunk show and met the designer and she was the one who brought it up. She is going to put sort of like a hook in the veil so it will all bustle up and the scattered crystals on the bottom will show. I bet any bridal shop could help you.

Mine is an ivory, completely plain veil cathedral length.

I just felt like such a bride in the long veil! (Which is funny because I never thought I would fall in love with long!)

I wore two birdcage veils that I made myself.  Here’s a picture that shows both veils.  One was a bandeau type veil that just went across my face, and the other was the small blusher-type veil in the back.

@ tomsbride A drop veil has a blusher but no poof at the top.  It sits flat on the top of your head.  The veil posted by mattel is a drop veil.  Here is mine at the seamstresses.  It is elobow length and I’m crocheting a lace edge to go at the bottom.
