This is my dress and I’m thinking I want basically the same veil…
But I’m getting married on the long island sound. Outside assuming the weather is on my side…What do you think? with a veil that long do you think it will be everywhere if I"m outside. Has anyone else had a really long veil and had it go nuts on you when it shouldn’t be?
Any advice on the subject is appreciated!

If anyone reads this I"m more concerned on whether or not the veil will be blowing everywhere…is that distracting? I don’t know what to expect.
How long is everyone elses veil and are you getting married outdoors?

I would think it wouldn’t be too bad with a veil that long. You could always have your Maid/Matron of Honor tuck an edge of the veil under the edge of your dress?
I am wearing an elbow length veil.

I would have a back up plan. It could get very windy on the Sound. What time of year are you getting married?

the end of June is when the wedding is.

Honestly, I would LOVE to have my veil blowing around in the wind. I love every photo I’ve seen of veils going crazy, and it’s the only reason I’m second guessing my decision to go no veil.

Your alterations person can add weights to the veil.
