Hey Bees. Now that I am finally done dress shopping I want to buy a veil. The one at the salon is gorgeous and to die for but close to $1100.00 which is out of my range now that I bought two dresses. I am looking for a cathedral veil with a crystal or crystal and pearl edging. Bonus points if there are scattered crystals throughout. My dress is silk in a natural/light champagne colour and the bodice has a few crystals and pearls on it including the straps. I am open to other suggests. What veil would pair with the dress Bees? What length, color, edging etc? Where should I buy it? Looking to spend around $200-$300.
Feel free to post your veils and shops where you purchased!

I’ve heard that ebay and etsy are the way to go. I made a mistake and bought mine at the bridal salon, so it was way overpriced. Check out the online retailers and you might have some luck!

hafh2016 : Thansks for the suggestion. Any particular shops you would suggest on Etsy?

canhorsegal : I bought mine from the same bridal shop as my dress and it was about £150. I think a cathedral length veil would look great with your dress, I’d say a plain edged veil but with some sort of detail on the veil itself, like jewels as you mentioned. I’ll need to come back and post a pic of mine as I’m on my iPad.

canhorsegal : I would recommend Blanca Veils on Etsy!! That’s where I purchased mine from! Super affordable in comparison to bridal shops! She could probably do something custom for you if you want crystals scattered throughout
Here is my veil 🙂

canhorsegal : This would be the veil I would choose with your dress. I recommend this shop! I probably got 20 samples (you can request some from her btw) and thought her materials were the best. She even sent me a free sample of her beading! Other shops almost looked like netting and it wasnt my style. I think you could request a custom length as well.

hopefulmothertobee : So pretty, I never considered lace as I felt lace around the face was a bit too traditional for me, even though I am getting married in a Catholic church! I like the idea of how the lace would lay around the edge of the dress, yet not overpower the rest of the veil. Good thinking and thanks!
