If you’re worried, you should probably go to a doctor…while I’m sure there are people on the boards with medical expertise, it’s always hard to diagnose something without being able to see or examine it in person. Hopefully it’s nothing actually major though!

I don’t know what it could be but I hope everything turns out okay. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Let us know how it goes for you. ((((Hugs))))

I wouldn’t think it’s a problem- I have certain veins in my hands and feet (and probably some in areas I don’t readily see) that show really obviously through my skin.  To what extent, depends on the day.

Did you Fiance mention when he first noticed it?  Did it just show up or has it been there for a long time and he just didn’t say anything to you?

I’m sure that it will be okay if you wait until Monday to see a doctor.  If you are experiencing any odd feelings or what not, or if you just want to quell your doubts, go see an emergency care facility or walk-in clinic to get some more information.

@MsHymanRoth:  Did you ever find out what the problem was? I am also from Boston.. and I have just discovered dark purple spidery veins behind my ear as well. I’m thinking it might be from my cell phone, but no idea if I should go to the Dr or just not talk on my cell phone for a few months and see if it goes away. any tips you might have are appreciated!
