That’s a nice idea-but honestly, I doubt I would do up gift bags for the vendors-I think they charge too much as it is!  If anything, I would tip the DJ-but only if he really does a great job!

Definitely don’t do this IN LIEU OF a tip and vendor meal.

If you want to do it in addition to a tip and a meal, you are either MUCH nice than I am, have much more free time than I do, or have much more money than I do (probably all three, actually!)  They’ll appreciate them I’m sure, and it’s a very sweet idea (but not a replacement for a tip and a real meal)

Water bottle, granola bars and almonds? I’d honestly rather get nothing than this… it sounds like diaper bag essentials…

Wow some harsh folks hanging around today. I think if you have a relationship with your vendors and want to do something special for them on top of what’s expected then go for it! I love my photographer and on site coordinator at my venue and would totally hook them up if I had the time and money.

@basketballwifetobe: I wasnt trying to be harsh, just honest. Isnt that what the hive is for? I think vendor gifts are a great idea, they shoiuld just be a little more personal?.

@omdela01: I think they should also be thoughtful and providing them with snacks to munch on throughout the course of a very long day is thoughtful.
